To players who are unable to download or launch the “Deadly Demo” app.
We’ve identified an issue where certain security software, such as ESET or McAfee, detects Win64/Packed.VMProtect.AC and prevents the Deadly Demo application from downloading or launching correctly.
If you’re experiencing this issue, please follow the steps below.
■ For players using ESET:
In the “Processes exclusions” settings, add steam.exe and tribenine.exe as exclusions.
■ For players using McAfee:
In the “Real-Time Scanning” settings > “Excluded Files”, select [Add file] to add steam.exe and tribenine.exe.
We’d like to assure you once again that this issue stems from the anti-cheat software within the application. This won’t compromise your security, and we have no intention of collecting any personal information.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.”
